About Hermanus Tours and Transfers
“Multi-talented with the gift of the gab” is perhaps the most apt description of the amazingly humble Neels Terblanche! What an interesting and passionate man of the earth, mountains and oceans who after growing up in Oudtshoorn and spending time as a specialist tour guide in 1984, decided that “an adventurist” is his chosen career and job description!
Whilst building a successful career in marketing and the establishment of ‘de novo’ enterprises in the traditional corporate environment he realised that his personality requires space, freedom of choice and movement, open seas and skies and that any form of traditional “uniform” will not allow him the opportunity to live his dreams.
The result is that he now holds a pilot’s licence, may captain yachts and boats, may fly micro-lights and owns his own tour company Hermanus Tours and Transfers that specialise in unique adventures and tours.
He sailed the Atlantic, spend substantial time amongst the Bushman in their natural habitat and worked on Cruise ships all over the globe.
A story teller of note, with an incredible level of general knowledge on the veldt, the oceans and the skies.
Extremely well travelled and having visited all the continents he is well versed in the needs and expectations of all levels of tourists.
Indeed a most remarkable person!
